Claire Polandine

Having worked her way up from 2nd Horn, Claire spent 8 years on Solo Horn before leaving to take up teacher training.  A short but successful spell with the Guildhall Youth Brass Band in the late 80s lead to many connections with other bands and in 2001, one of those connections lead to an invitation to join the Travelsphere Holidays Band on 2nd Horn.  Due to work commitments Claire was originally unable to play a permanent part in the band until 2002, when she rejoined the band on 1st Horn.  After a recent short break from the band, we are pleased to welcome her back as part of percussion section.
